Zoetermeer, The Netherlands, 26 March 2009.

The Supervisory Board (SVB) of Teleplan International N.V. (ISIN: NL0000229458, Prime Standard) decided on its Board Meeting today to present Gotthard Haug for appointment as new CEO to the Annual General Shareholders Meeting (AGM) on May 7, this year. Gotthard Haug has already been nominated as Interim CEO in addition to his function as Group CFO until the upcoming AGM by the Supervisory Board on February 27, 2009 to continue the successful management story after Mark Twaalfhoven had decided to look for new challenges outside of the Company.

Teleplan’s performance, organization and procedures have stabilized over the past years significantly. Strong revenue growth combined with a return to an increasing profitability has been achieved. Sustainable cost improvements based on the shift of production from high to low cost countries were one of the drivers of the successful restructuring which was finalized end of 2007 with a complete mid- to long-term refinancing of the Group and repayment of debt ahead of schedule.

“Gotthard Haug implemented and controlled this process to turn around the Group from the very beginning on. He assured with his constant focus on these numerous measures within the day-to-day business the increase in efficiency, the return to profitability and the information of the shareholders and the financial community”, expressed Adrian Schmassmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board the good co-operation in the past five years. “His experience and very deep knowledge of the Company and their customers will guide and strengthen Teleplan in the challenging years to come”, underlined Mr. Schmassmann the decision of the Supervisory Board.

In order to ensure a smooth transition, the SVB presents Thiem Schoonderbeek for appointment as new CFO to the AGM in May. Thiem Schoonderbeek joined Teleplan in February 2006 and accompanied the successful restructuring as Group Director Control & Reporting. Before this challenging task he was responsible at Group 4 Falck (now Group 4 Securicor) for reporting & control and mergers & acquisitions as Group Controller and European CFO. Thiem Schoonderbeek looks back on an extensive knowledge and experience in finance and controlling, starting his career as accountant and auditor at KPMG and Arthur Andersen before he moved to Saatchi & Saatchi as local and regional finance director.
