Teleplan appoints Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

Schiphol/Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 2 November 2011 – Teleplan International N.V. (Prime
Standard, ISIN: NL0000229458), the leading global provider of high-tech integrated after-market
services for the Computer, Communications and Consumer Electronics industries has appointed
Patrick Ring as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. The official appointment of Patrick Ring as
Member of the Management Board is subject to the approval of the Company’s General Meeting
of Shareholders, to be held on 14 December 2011. “Patrick will bring a broad international
experience in Forward and Reverse Logistics Supply Chain to our company and key constituents
which will increase our customers’ experience going forward”, commented Gotthard Haug, Chief
Executive Officer at Teleplan.

Patrick Ring (45), Irish nationality, joined Teleplan on 1 November 2011. Prior to joining Teleplan
Mr. Ring served as Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales at ModusLink Global Solutions & Banta
Global Turnkey. Prior to this he held Management roles in Operations & Supply Chain at Intel and
Apple over en eleven year period.

The Management Board of Teleplan now consists of four Management Board Members with
Gotthard Haug, Chief Executive Officer, Jan Piet Valk, Chief Financial Officer, PK Bala, Chief
Operations Officer and Patrick Ring, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
