Teleplan appoints two new Management Board Members


Teleplan’s Extraordinary General Meeting appoints two new Management Board Members
Jan Piet Valk new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Patrick Ring new Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSMO)

Schiphol/Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 14 December 2011 – Teleplan International N.V. (ISIN:
NL0000229458), the leading global provider of high-tech after-market services for the Computer,
Communications and Consumer Electronics industries today held its Extraordinary General Meeting
of shareholders (EGM) with 95.03% of the shareholders’ capital being present. The EGM appointed
the two additional Management Board Members unanimously. With today’s appointments,
Teleplan’s Management Board now consists of the four members Gotthard Haug (CEO), Jan Piet
Valk (CFO), PK Bala (COO) and Patrick Ring (CSMO).

Jan Piet Valk, of Dutch nationality, joined Teleplan on 1 September 2011. Prior to joining Teleplan
Mr. Valk served as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board of Logica Benelux.
Before Logica he held several senior financial management functions at multinational companies
such as Royal Dutch Shell, Enertel and Fokker Aircraft in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Jan Piet Valk brings more than 20 years of in-depth, international corporate finance and business
expertise to Teleplan.

Patrick Ring, of Irish nationality, joined Teleplan on 1 November 2011. Prior to joining Teleplan Mr.
Ring served as Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales at ModusLink & Banta Global Turnkey. Prior
to this he held management roles in operations & supply chain at Intel and Apple over an 11 year
period.
