Corporate Social Responsibility is a critical enabler for many large companies and is becoming more and more a top decision making criteria. The Circular Economy concept is gaining relevance and importance in laying down the foundations of an alternative business model. The Circular Economy is not new to Teleplan. It is part of our company DNA. As an after-market service provider and reverse supply chain player we have developed services, using our knowledge and experience on refurbishment and also on modules and components to optimize the re-use or resell potential.


Teleplan has earned a gold EcoVadis rating, indicating the company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) throughout its global operations which serve customers from 95 countries. The awarded gold rating places Teleplan among the top 5 percent of organisations assessed for environmental practices and sustainability performance. EcoVadis is an independent rating agency that is widely recognized around the world. Using methodology built on international CSR standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000, EcoVadis has developed a rigorous rating system which is highly regarded by global supply chains and industries.


Teleplan is proud to play a vital role in managing the environmental and social impacts of the computer, communications and consumer electronics industries. Our business is the provision of repair services and, in the instance when a repair cannot be made, the recovery, reuse, recycling or safe disposal of products. The efficient and effective delivery of our services, enables our customers to manage faulty, damaged and waste products in order to reduce waste and prolong the life of the product.

We are totally committed to protecting the integrity of our customers’ brands by consistently meeting or exceeding their expectations of service, quality and performance. In order to safeguard the brands and reputation of our customers, Teleplan operates to the same standards as they do themselves.

Our environmental and social aspects are embedded in the day-to-day management of our operations. We conduct business in an economically and environmentally sound and sustainable manner. Our service centers across the globe are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.

As a responsible business, Teleplan is committed to managing and mitigating the environmental impacts of its operations. These are:

  • The use of energy in the heating/cooling and lighting of facilities and the operation of test and repair equipment
  • The use of water for domestic purposes
  • The recovery, reuse, recycling and disposal of waste
  • The handling and disposal of hazardous substances

Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct is the essence of our ethical standards and general business principles and helps us earn the continued confidence of our employees, customers and communities.

Teleplan operates with policies and procedures which ensure that the business:

  • Complies with all non-discrimination requirements
  • Maintains an environment where individuals are free from any physical, sexual, psychological, verbal or visual harassment or abuse
  • Observes all applicable restrictions on the maximum hours employees are legally permitted to work
  • Pays employees at least the minimum wage required by local law and provides all legally mandated benefits
  • Upholds the right to freely chosen employment and does not use forced, indentured or bonded labor
  • Requires a minimum age requirement for employment consistent with local law
  • Upholds the right to freedom of association and the right to engage in collective bargaining in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

These policies and procedures apply equally to permanent and temporary contract employees.
